Tivoli Park is the largest park in Ljubljana that connects the city centre and the wooden area of Rožnik and Šiška Hill. According to the plan, prepared in 1813 by the French engineer Blanchard, it was created from two parks once surrounding the Podturn Manor (today's Grad Tivoli) and Cekin Mansion. The park’s design is marked with three main promenades surrounded by wild chestnut tree avenues, complemented by individual flower parks, interesting trees, numerous statues and several fountains. The park is home to four venues of the 36th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts: MGLC Grad Tivoli, MGLC Švicarija, MGLC Plečnik Auditorium, and Jakopič Promenade.
